Collabforge Pty Ltd maintains and hosts this website for Scaffle and Scaffle Engage. References to “We”, “Our” and “Us” in this policy include a reference to Scaffle and Scaffle Engage. In these terms: “We”, “our” and “us” are Collabforge and “you” are the individual accessing the website or using our services.

We are the owner and operator of this site.

By using the website you form a legally binding agreement with us. You therefore agree to follow our terms and conditions. These terms and conditions govern the use of and access to our website.

We may also suspend or stop providing you access to the website without prior notice if you do not comply with our terms and conditions or if we are investigating suspected misconduct.

5. Deleting your account

We reserve the right to remove or disable your account without prior notice if we believe you have breached any of our terms and conditions.

If we remove or disable your account due to a breach or investigation of a potential breach of these terms and conditions, you are not permitted to reregister without our permission. We will notify you that your account has been removed or disabled the next time you attempt to access your account.

You are able to delete your account if you so choose. Deleting your account ensures that your account and personal information contained therein is permanently removed from the website. Collabforge will endeavour to process the deletion of your account immediately. Please note that some information may remain in backup logs for a reasonable period of time.

You can delete your account from your profile page.

6. Uploading content and contributing to this site

This website may display content that is not the property of Collabforge Pty Ltd. Any such content is the sole responsibility of the person who makes it available. We will not be considered to have uploaded content made available to the website by any person.

We propose to review content to determine whether it is illegal, contrary to any of our terms and conditions or not relevant to Collabforge activities. We may remove or refuse to display content that we reasonably believe to be in breach of the terms and conditions or the spirit of our terms and conditions or the law.

We are not obligated to carry out any particular review or to review generally.

By agreeing to these terms and conditions we have the right to modify, edit or reformat any content that is uploaded or made available if we believe it breaches our terms and conditions.

Note that the website privacy policy does not apply to linked web sites, however, we do not link knowingly to sites that are privacy-invasive. When you link to another site, we recommend you read the privacy statement of that site to familiarise yourself with its privacy policy.

1. Collection and use of personal data

This website does not collect or record personal information, other than information you choose to provide through our registration processes, profile creation, purchasing and feedback e-mail.

2.Collection and use of site visit data

The following non-personal information is automatically recorded by this site’s web server for statistical and system administration purposes only:

  • your server address;
  • your top level domain name (e.g. .com, .au, .gov);
  • the date and the time of your visit to the site;
  • the pages you accessed and downloaded;
  • the address of the last site you visited;
  • your operating system;
  • the type of browser you are using.

When you are making a payment on our website, you will be transferred to the PayPal Australia Pty Limited service which will also use personal information either from our website form or that which you enter directly. Please review Paypal’s privacy policy before completing your purchase to understand how your information may be used.

In the event of an investigation into suspected unlawful or improper activity, a law enforcement agency or government agency may exercise its legal authority to inspect the web server’s records (eg. in relation to hacking or abusive messages).

4. Security of your personal data

Personal data collected by us, is stored on our servers which are managed by Amazon Web Services, in the Sydney region.

Payment and personal information required to complete payments are managed and stored by PayPal Australia Pty Limited.

When your information is stored on the website server:

  • We provide the highest level of password security (encrypted with salting) and password information is encrypted while being transferred and at rest on our servers.
  • No staff member is able to access a text version of your password either through the user interface or on the servers.
  • We encrypt critical information stored in the database.
  • We do not store payment information such as credit card information on our servers – this is managed by the Paypal service.
  • The Collabforge website software is kept up-to-date, ensuring security updates are applied.
  • All data is stored by Collabforge is stored on servers in Australia.

5. Accessing your personal data

Please contact Collabforge at contact@collabforge.com if you would like to find out what information we have stored about you. You can request that this information be provided to you and/or deleted or corrected.

6. Making a complaint

If you feel like your information has been used in a way which goes against the Australian Privacy Principles, please get in touch with us immediately at contact@collabforge.com. If you are seeking a specific resolution please include your request in the email. We will commence an investigation to understand why the breach or error has occurred. If we are unable to resolve the issue to your satisfaction, it is your right to take this further through recognised external dispute schemes.
